Are you going through a tumultuous season right now? I get it.
Several months ago, in the middle of recovery from a broken leg, an X-ray revealed a fractured front tooth. Are you kidding me? That wasn’t really necessary, was it?!
The periodontic peril since certainly created some anxiety, but thankfully very little pain. Two surgeries, lots of dollars and one dental implant later… I’m now counting the days! till the pearly white project is complete.
Sometimes when you’re so caught up in the crisis, you have to remind yourself to breathe!
We have a dear friend who lost both parents in a very short time. As he gradually eased back into his intense travel and speaking schedule I asked how he was coping, in the wake of such great loss.
He told me one of his secrets- to set aside some time every day, all alone and unplugged from all technology. He would sit quietly away from the noise and do whatever he needed to do… sleep, write, cry, pray… whatever.
How about you?
Are you recuperating from physical trauma or finding your equilibrium after loss? What are your secret weapons for coping? Please share them!!
